BlackCloak Identity Theft and Credit Monitoring Overview

BlackCloak is launching a new embedded credit monitoring and identity theft insurance feature in the BC Mobile App.

This enhancement empowers registered users with real-time credit monitoring, credit scores, identity theft restoration and insurance protection, and access to detailed credit reports. Additionally, users can leverage score simulators to explore financial scenarios and extend identity monitoring services to their children. With seamless self-service capabilities, users can easily enroll, manage, and customize these features directly within the mobile app.

Key Features and Functionality

• Credit Scores & Reports - Access to up-to-date credit scores and full credit reports from all 3 Bureaus to track financial standing and identify potential issues.
• Credit Alerts - Users receive real-time alerts and notifications about changes to their credit profile, helping them stay informed about their financial health.
• Score Simulator - A tool that allows users to model different financial scenarios and see potential impacts on their credit scores.
• Identity Protection
  • Identity Theft Insurance (Registered Member Only)
    • Our identity theft reimbursement, with zero deductible, reimburses you for expenses related to identity theft restoration, including replacement of documents, traveling expenses, loss of income, child/elderly care (incurred as a result of identity restoration), and legal costs.
    • Children under the age of 18 will not be eligible for insurance and restoration coverage.
    • Each member will need a registered account (BlackCloak seat license) to have insurance coverage.
  • Identity Restoration Services (Registered Member Only)
    • Our full-service identity restoration service takes the burden off of you in the event that your identity is stolen by going beyond the traditional credit report restoration.
    • Children under the age of 18 will not be eligible for insurance and restoration coverage.
    • Each member will need a registered account (BlackCloak seat license) to have restoration service coverage.
  • Identity Monitoring Services
    • SSN Monitoring - We monitor your SSNs in real-time, detecting usage across a variety of situations including loan applications, employment and healthcare records, tax filings, online documents signings and payment platforms. You will receive immediate alerts so you can proactively control your identities.
      • Up to three SSNs can be monitored at any given time.
      • Child Coverage
        • Users can add children to the SSN Monitoring service.
    • Change of Address - We help catch unauthorized changes to your current or past addresses by monitoring the National Change of Address (NCOA) database and U.S. Postal Service records. If a change occurs, we notify you the moment it happens.
      • Up to 1 address can be monitored at a time and is updatable in the mobile app
• Self-Service Management - Full in-app functionality to view, manage, and take action on all credit monitoring and identity protection features.
