Checking Your BlackCloak Mobile App's Permission Settings

iOS Devices
To check if the BlackCloak app has been given permissions to continually run in the background on your iOS device, please go to:
- Settings>Privacy>Location Services>BlackCloak (if the App permission does not say "Always", please adjust to "Always").
- From here go back to Settings>Privacy>Motion & Fitness>BlackCloak (the toggle should be green, if not please adjust)
- Then open the BlackCloak app (log in, if prompted) and let it run for a few seconds before closing. If you require your PIN, please email us. Alternatively, you can login using your email, but for security reasons you must be able to access the email on the mobile device.
Android Devices
To check if the BlackCloak app has been given permissions to continually run in the background on your Android device, please go to:
- Settings>Location>App Permission>BlackCloak (permission should be set to "All the time" or "Always", if not, please adjust)
- Then open the BlackCloak app (log in, if prompted) and let it run for a few seconds before closing. If you require your PIN, please email us. Alternatively, you can login using your email, but for security reasons you must be able to access the email on the mobile device.
