Data Broker LexisNexis Experiences Data Breach
Data broker LexisNexis disclosed it experienced a data breach affecting more than 364,000 individuals. Sensitive information was exposed in the breach, and it's highly recommended you take the proper steps to ensure you are protected against any potential risks.
What Information Was Compromised?
An investigation conducted by LexisNexis and a forensics firm found the following information was compromised:
Names
Contact information, including phone numbers, postal and email addresses
Social Security numbers
Driver's licenses
Dates of birth
The data broker found no financial, payment card or other sensitive personal information was accessed.
What To Do About This?
Place a credit freeze and fraud alert on your accounts, which you can do through the BlackCloak mobile and desktop application
