Guide: Updating Your Account Login to the New System
We are upgrading our login system to provide enhanced security and a smoother user experience. This guide outlines the three simple steps required to transition your account to the new Login method.
1. Update Your BlackCloak App
Before you begin, ensure you are running the latest version of the application. The new login features are only available in the most recent update.
Action: Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and tap Update next to the BlackCloak app.
Note: If you do not see an "Update" button, you may already be on the latest version.
2. Create Your New Login
Once the app is updated, open it to begin the transition.
Action: Open the app. You will be prompted to create your new login credentials.
If you’re not already logged in, you’ll first need to enter your current credentials before being prompted to change your login. If you need your current credentials, reach out to the Concierge Team and we’ll provide it for you.
Follow the Prompts: Follow the on-screen login instructions and select Set Your Own Password or Continue with Google (if the email associated with your BlackCloak account is through Google).
3. Sign In on Your Other Devices
After successfully creating your new login on your primary device, you will need to reconnect your other protected devices.
Action: Open the BlackCloak app on your computers, tablets, or secondary phones.
Log In: Sign in using the new credentials you just created in Step 2.
