Apple Releases Security Updates to Patch Zero-Day Vulnerability
Apple has issued a new round of security updates for several of its devices to address a zero-day vulnerability.
These alerts are available for various iPhone and iPad models and Macs running Sequoia, Sonoma, and Ventura.
Apple said this vulnerability has been exploited in an "extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals." If you have an Apple device that may be impacted by this vulnerability, it is highly recommended that you download these updates as soon as possible.
What Devices Are Affected?
iPhone XS and later
iPad Pro 13-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 7th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2nd generation, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, and iPad 6th generation
macOS Sequoia, Sonoma and Ventura

Depending on your device, after you download the update, your operating system should either be:
iOS 18.6.2 and iPadOS 18.6.2
iPadOS 17.7.10
macOS Sequoia 15.6.1
